How three-stage filtration works

Three links in one chain.

Each stage is built to take one job off the next. Get the sequence right and final filters last longer, fans draw less power and components wear slower.

Stage 1 · Pre-filtration 10µm
  1. Stage 1

    Pre-filtration

    Takes the bulk load of sand, lint, insects and scale so the expensive stages downstream don’t choke on it. The cheapest filter in the system, and the one that decides how long the others last.

  2. Stage 2

    Fine filtration

    Where efficiency is won or lost: fine dust, pollen, spores and wear metals. Media area is sized to your flow, so resistance stays low for the whole service life.

How we make them

From media roll to rated filter.

Every Tri Link filter goes through the same four steps on our floor, whether it’s a one-off prototype or a production run of thousands.

  1. Step 1

    Media

    Glass microfibre, synthetic or cellulose, chosen for the particle, the fluid and the operating temperature.

  2. Step 2

    Pleat

    Pleat height and spacing set so the whole media area works. More surface means lower pressure drop and longer life.

  3. Step 3

    Assemble

    Frames, end caps, cores and seals bonded to standard sizes or your drawing, down to the gasket profile.

  4. Step 4

    Test

    Efficiency, pressure drop and seal integrity are checked before a filter leaves the floor.
